BIOGRAPHY

Deniz Orman was born in İzmir. He was the only child. He went to kindergarten as his mother and father were working in the full time jobs. In his childhood he did not want to go to the kindergarten after a while thus he stayed in Alaşehir and Ayvalık where his grandmothers were living. His childhood passed mostly in those small villages with his grandmothers. He was super happy to be in nature and free. He was examining insects, plants and playing with other children during the days. It was a dream childhood which would be perfect for every child for sure.

When he went to Alaşehir, he was dealing with grape farms. His grandmothers and fathers in Alaşehir was farmer in the vineyards. Alaşehir was the pioneer city in Turkey in grape production. Every summer season grape farmers was moving to the vineyards from Alaşehir. He still remembers those years while he was moving with grandmother and father on the tractor. While he was 5 years old, he planted many apricot and fig seed in the ground.

At age 7 Deniz Orman started to primary school “Mehmet Akif Ersoy Primary School” in İzmir. In those years he started to make paintings and some kind of handcrafts. At age 10 one of the school teachers sent his one paint with the theme “Aviation” to the painting contest of Turkish Air Forces. He was still going to Alaşehir and Ayvalık in his summer holidays and also produced lots of art and handcraft until his age 15.

At age 14 he entered the entrance exam for high school and got the high point to enter the one of the prestigous anatolian high schools of İzmir, İzmir Kız Anatolian High School which was founded by Atatürk in 1923. He will firstly be learning English at high school and through next years took mainly math and science based courses for the engineering departments in universities.

At his high school years Deniz Orman has began to show high interest to music and learned playing guitar. He took 6 months classical guitar training. He continued to improve himself in this competency and started playing metal musics with electric guitars. He formed his first metal/rock band called “Fatalite” at age 16 and gave concerts in different festivals at high school.

At age 18 he was entitled to get education in the field of industrial systems engineering at Izmir University of Economics after student selection exam. At age 24 he graduated from university and completed his bachelor education. As he got strong theoretical knowledge about business processes, production planning and material planning operations, he started his career as an ERP business analyst in supply chain management modules directly after graduation. After one year he got another position as production and material planning engineer. He deeply analysed stock types and created new algorithm decision making models to optimize inventory levels in the warehouse. After his admission he got offer for MBA and engineering program at HTW Berlin. Now it was time to start a new life in another country from scratch.

Deniz Orman had very basic German knowledge when he moved to Berlin. He both improved his English and German through 2 years at HTW Berlin University. He conducted his master thesis at Siemens Renewable Energy in Denmark in conjunction to his full time internship at the last semester Read More. It was again a challenge moving another country. However searching and good planning defeated all of them.

Deniz Orman graduated from HTW Berlin with score 2.1 based on german grading system and then he focused on searching job to continue his career. At that time he got one project-based offer from an outsourced firm in Stuttgart. He moved to Stuttgart and worked there as a logistic planner. Afterwards he expected permanent long-term jobs and got one offer from MAN Bus and Truck from Ankara, Turkey. Since 2019 he has been working at that company in the field of operational performance analysis of order planning and management activities and he has been living in Ankara.
