Interrail 1 | 2012

Many years passed after the first interrail I have done without taking any smartphone with me except for those nice maps which have unforgettable memories in their each streets.

I did my internship in Heidenheim, Germany in 2011. It was first summer semester of my Bachelor. At the end of internship I started my amazing interrail travel.

Actually I have lived with my family in Izmir until my 25 years old. I did not move to another city even in my country. That was the first time I was far away from home. I was feeling very excited as I was going to start such an unforgettable journey.

I planned my route. It was a rough plan which I made an initial search about hostels, transportation options, and places worth to see.

Berlin

I was ready to leave Heindeheim after 1 month. First station was Berlin 🙂 I could not know that I will be going there to live around 2.5 years again for the master education at those years 🙂 Therefore, it was the first touch with the city. I stayed in a hostel in the city center. Here are some pictures from my travel in Berlin.

Krakow

I arrived to Krakow from Berlin and then found my hostel called “4 friends hostel”. It was a bit outside of city. But 20 minutes bus was enough to arrive to city center. I came to one of the biggest city center square I have ever seen.

And of course Auswitzc and Birkenau was the darkest place in my travel I wanted to see. That was very well organized to clarify the place to the visitors. I just listen and wished that the world will never experience that tradegy again.

Prag

After 3 nights stay in Krakow I passed to Prag. It was too close just like moving to a city from another in Turkey :). I found my hostel after an hour walking in the city.

Budapest

I found a train again and I was in Budapest now. It was very nice city. I joined a city bus tour.

Vien

I was hearing some German words but was that really German language? 🙂 I discovered the city for a few days. It was the last station. I flew back to İzmir 🙂
